Tattoo Wrap – Thick Micron, 250 gm

Tattoo Wrap is one of the best products to protect your new tattoo during its most critical healing stage. Aftercare is a vital part of the tattoo process, and using high-quality wrap ensures added protection for fresh ink. Made from thick micron material and weighing 250 gm, this wrap is crafted from good quality components to offer safe, breathable coverage.

Caring for Your New Tattoo

Once your tattoo is done, your artist will cover it for your trip home. Leave the bandage on for 1–3 hours. After removing it, wash the area gently with very warm water and mild liquid hand soap—avoid perfumed or exfoliating body washes. Pat dry with a paper towel and allow it to air dry. Then apply a very small amount of Aquaphor ointment or plain, unscented lotion such as Aveeno, Lubriderm, or Curel. Use just enough to keep the tattoo slightly moist and flexible—never over-apply.

For your first night, your artist may suggest re-wrapping the tattoo in plastic wrap if it’s large or heavily colored to prevent it from sticking to bedsheets. Otherwise, leave it exposed to air. From the next day onward, wash your tattoo twice daily and moisturize 2–3 times daily or as needed when it feels dry or tight. Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo.

Avoid applying Vaseline, medicated, or perfumed products. Within a few days, your tattoo will develop a thin scab, and after about a week, it will begin flaking. Do not scratch or pick at the scabs—let them fall off naturally to prevent color fading or damage to your skin. Complete healing generally takes two weeks, and a shiny or waxy layer of skin may appear after scabs fall off. This is normal—keep moisturizing and it will fade with time.

Avoid during healing:

Re-wrapping after the first night (unless advised)

Submerging in water (baths, pools, oceans)

Sun exposure or tanning

Shaving over the tattoo

Once your skin feels smooth and fully healed, you can return to normal activities like swimming or shaving. If you have any questions during the healing process, don’t hesitate to contact your artist or visit the shop. We’re always here to help—there are no silly questions when it comes to healing your tattoo properly.
